March 27, 2010 – United Airlines has signed a cabin crew contract with Republic Airways for the reciprocal cabin seat as of March 9, 2010. Several airlines are part of the agreement of Republic Airways Holding. Chautauquas haupthub is IND with additional hubs in CLE, LGA, STL and CMH. Reciprocal cabin seats are seat contracts negotiated by the AFA with other airlines that allow United Flight Attendants to occupy a free cabin seat available on that airline, and in exchange, United agreed to “return the favour” to the flight attendants of these other airlines and to burst to occupy the cabin seats available on United aircraft. Then, crew members participating in reciprocal agreements will have room for seats available on the basis of “First come, first served”. In summary, the agreement with Republic Airways provides that reciprocal cabin agreements (CINCH) should not be confused with the proposed ID90 travel contracts. RCA benefits are negotiated by your Union and are free of charge. Services are only available to airline staff. Each mutual cabin seat agreement has unique guidelines that are related to the participating airline.
The guidelines include registration of procedures, clothing requirements and registration requirements. Note: These are cabin seat agreements, no cabin seat agreements. Shuttle America operates mainly in the south and southeast corridors. Midwest Airlines and Frontier have turnstiles in Denver, Kansas City and Milwaukee. Check in at the door or at the box office. Republic Airways Holding cabin crew, with a crew badge, will receive similar benefits to United from March 9.
